Eight More Days
Yes, that’s right. Eight more days until Guild Wars: Nightfall is released. ^.^
I was updating something in the control panel of this blog, and when I was done, saw this off to the right…

Got that right ROFL…the random Dr. Buzzard. Don’t worry, we keep your blog updated for you.
wtf is playing on my playlist *goes to look* ….. *deletes* stupid song that had something to do with North Carolina and someone I once knew. Ah well; switch to Liar – Korn, much better….yes, omgwtf I like Korn, you can pick yourself up off the floor now kthnx.
So – the accountant – short meeting, didn’t learn anything I didn’t already know, signed papers, all done. Short almost sweet meeting. Except for the bill that went with it. Although he was kind to me and didn’t charge what they usually do for a year of taxes and financial reports and such. At least our next financial report will read a bit better. Will be nice when I look forward to seeing our statements. At least we don’t owe the taxman anything LOL.
I guess tonight I’ll spend some more time working on the new network software and getting to know it better. I believe Jer is taking a look at the skins, so we can get it to match the KillaNet look. It has some pretty cool plug-ins that we can make very good use of. So far it looks like it was worth the price. As it’s the same software we’re going to be using for Digital Storm, getting to know it for KillaNet’s massive amount of webpages will almost make Digital Storm’s site feel like a walk in the park. Except today. It’s raining, windy, and not very warm. Today wouldn’t be a good day for a walk in the park. Well it could, I guess, if the mood suits, but I am not in the mood for a walk in the park.
We’ve been taking a look at some other changes that will be taking place within the Network as well. Things like staff and procedure changes, a bit more in the way of goal-setting and meeting those goals on time, and not allowing them to be delayed over and over. There are places I want KillaNet to be in a certain amount of time, and I am not going to let things fall by the wayside. We’re almost three years old, and should be much farther ahead than we are. Hopefully the days of unexpected events are over and we can concentrate on the here and now, without getting sideswiped by unreliability, disappearances, lies, and sabatoge – mostly from the same person and his band of associates. Heh…Korn’s Liar suits him too. Oh well. It was predicted by said person that KillaNet would never go anywhere and would fail. Well, look at us now. Doesn’t look like we’ve disappeared, does it – and we’re certainly a long ways from failing.
Wow…a bit of a vent there. Probably more where that came from, I expect. I know there’s things to be aired, they’ve been floating around in my over-wired mind for awhile now. When I’ll allow them loose, I’m not sure. Venting that little bit about events from a couple of years ago is a start, I guess – although a number of you already know what all of that entailed, seeing as it involved all who were KillaNet staff at the time. Hard to forget the damage one person can cause, but when others on the outside get involved, all that happens is that it gets worse.
omgwtf @ Jericho. Darned cliffhanger episode endings. I’m surprised; I didn’t think I’d like the show, but so far I’ve enjoyed it. Oops guess I got sidetracked off of my line of thought. Meh; other things that need doing anyway. I can finish that line of thought in tomorrow’s edition, or the day after. Or maybe later tonight,if the mood hits. Time for Criminal Minds and the making of dinner anyway. =P
