Who put the Order in my Chaos?

It’s Still Raining

But it’ll stop any day now, I’m sure. The weatherman said it would. Although now that I think about it, he didn’t say if that was before or after we were supposed to build a big boat. :P

I’ve been somewhat busy, working a few different projects. I do need to focus more on the main website though. KillaNet’s birthday is only two months away, and there is lots to be done before then.

I met some of the development team from a relatively new Vancouver studio last Friday night. Slant Six Games create games for Playstation and Playstation Portable. I will be including various members of their production teams in future interviews and features. On a sidenote, my first car had a slant six in it. ;)

My article/report on the relaunching of IGDA Vancouver has been published on the local chapter site. Thanks Jason for the linkback to KillaNet – another reason to get the new network all done, as we are starting to get known in the neighbourhood, so to speak…

We’ve added a new staff member to our forum. TheGodFather will be looking after the Application Development section, with a focus on the C++ department. We have also elevated Vercz to Network Admin, so he gets to have a nice shiny new crate (those who have been around since the beginning will know about the crates). Josh insisted we get him some new chains as well, just to keep him from running off once he gets all caught up on the Admin discussions. LOL =P

I’ve been reading an interesting book – well, it’s actually a course textbook – on the changing face of today’s journalism and media. It’s part of my research for adding more journalistic resources on the network. I’ll be posting a review on the book once I’m done, which should be in the next couple of days….or so…depending on distractions 0.o
