Who put the Order in my Chaos?

Another Week Written Off

This week has been filled with making up for all of the stuff which got postponed due to last week’s storms. Just in time for another storm warning to be posted. YAY!

As I posted earlier, Mike and I did attend the Max 9 and Maya 8 launch night, and I posted a report about that on both KillaNet’s home, the KG forum and on my DA page. It was a good night all in all, and Mike’s been messing around with Max 9 since Wednesday. He’s truly interested in the programme, too bad I don’t have the thousands of dollars needed to purchase the whole package for him.

Today was my parents’ 44th anniversary, and Mike and I went out for dinner with them. The food was good, company was good, and my Dad’s cellphone didn’t ring off the hook. In fact the only person who bugged us during dinner was my brother going on about more trucks. Oh well, another couple of weeks and it’ll just be me he whines to, as that is when we will be officially taking over ownership from the parents. Not what I want to do, but I don’t really have alot of choice right now. This doesn’t mean that KillaNet will slide, quite the contrary. If nothing else, this has made me even more driven to take KillaNet out into the real world more than it already is. Time and measured growth, we’ll get there.

What I could really use right now is a fully co-operative staff in both companies who are ready to pay more than just lip-service to the changes that are coming. Growth means action, not promises. Empty promises are a dime a dozen, and I’ve had enough of those to last a lifetime. If nothing changes, then nothing changes. No changes means stagnating, and I can’t permit that to happen. If things stagnate, then bit by bit things die. That’s not going to happen either. Of course if this rain doesn’t stop, we may just all float away off into the horizon. In the meantime though, I think I will go and try to catch up on some sleep.

Oh yes…shane, jer, james, josh…update your blogs ;)
